Growth Hacking

Growth Hacking has user growth as the ultimate goal. The relatively new approach to marketing was popularised by Sean Ellis after his work at Dropbox where he helped to facilitate the rapid scaling of the file shoring platform.

Especially when you move from testing with your MVP to the customer creation phase of your business, growth hacking can be tremendously valuable. Of course growth at all cost can not be sustainable and you will need to change tact at some point, but initially growth should be your North Star

A startup is a company designed to grow fast. Being newly founded does not in itself make a company a startup. Nor is it necessary for a startup to work on technology, or take venture funding, or have some sort of "exit." The only essential thing is growth. Everything else we associate with startups follows from growth.
